“Here We Go”: Bayern Signs Luis Diaz for €75m

Bayern Munich Seal €75m Deal for Liverpool’s Luis Díaz

Bayern Munich have reached a full agreement with Liverpool to sign Luis Díaz in a €75 million package deal. The Colombian winger has been granted permission to travel to Germany for his medical before completing the transfer.

Liverpool Initially Rejected Bayern’s Offer

A few weeks ago, The Athletic reported that Liverpool had turned down an offer worth €67.5 million (£58.6m; $78.8m) from Bayern Munich. However, as negotiations continued, the Bundesliga champions returned with an improved bid that Liverpool ultimately accepted.

During Liverpool’s final pre-season friendly press conference, manager Arne Slot confirmed that Díaz was left out of the squad due to ongoing speculation about his future.

Fabrizio Romano Confirms the Deal

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano broke the news with his signature announcement:
FC Bayern reach full agreement to sign Luis Díaz from Liverpool, here we go! €75m package agreed and authorization for medical also confirmed from #LFC. Lucho wanted to leave, Liverpool accepted the conditions, and Díaz will now sign a four-year deal at Bayern.

Player Wanted the Move

Liverpool were initially reluctant to part ways with their Colombian star, but Luis Díaz made it clear he wanted to join Bayern. The deal is now finalized, and Bayern hopes to complete all formalities before their pre-season clash against Olympique Lyon, allowing Díaz to feature in the match.

Bayern’s Transfer Ambitions Continue

With Díaz now set to wear another red jersey—this time in Germany—Bayern Munich have secured their No. 1 target of the summer transfer window. The Bavarian giants are still looking to add another attacking player to further strengthen their squad for the upcoming season.
